Basketball season will start on March 4th. There will be 2 divisions, DI with 6 teams and DII will have 7 teams. Games will be played full court. DI will play on Tuesday and Friday, DII will play on Monday and Thursday. I will have the schedule up ASAP.

Congratulations to Valley View Mennonite Church for their win against Harrisonburg Baptist Church in Division II.

Division I tournament will resume on Monday 7/31 at 6:00, championship game at 7:00. Games at Eastern Mennonite School Field. If second game is needed to determine winner, the game will be played Monday at WR after completion of Division II.

Division II tournament will resume on Monday 7/31 at 6:00, championship game at 7:00 and if second game is needed to determine winner, the game will be played at 8:00. Games at West Rockingham Ruritan Park.

Due to insecticide treatment of the grass at EMS on Saturday, the Sunday games have been cancelled. The games will be rescheduled for a later date.

Games for 6-8-23 have been postponed due to air quality. They will be rescheduled.

Thanks to Bradley Walker for the new website look and functionality.

You all may have noticed the old website didn’t work last year during softball season. It was no longer being hosted and our web address went up for auction. Bradley bought it and saved the organization from possible embarrassing consequences. He then found this free program for sports leagues. It is similar to the old website in that it keeps our schedule and the standings but has some other very nice features. One of the features I think everyone will like is that each team has their own page that shows only that team’s games. It also gives some other statistics for the season. As time goes on other features may be added.

Thanks again Brad for putting the time into this, it will help the league run much smoother.
